Out of Frame
Nathalie Noé Adam’s work is rooted in a sensitive observation of the plant world. Drawing inspiration from plants encountered during her travels, she creates vibrant drawings in which living beings reveal themselves in all their intimacy, between visible presence and invisible forces. Her work explores the cycles of transformation, birth, metamorphosis, and disappearance, and questions organic memory, matter, and the fragile link between humans and nature.
With Antidote, birth, she depicts the emergence of a cicada, a symbol of rebirth, slowly crossing the strata of the earth after long years of metamorphosis. A work that evokes the continuity of life and questions the future of our own matter.
